I filmed, edited, engineered, mixed, mastered, and produced this video by myself. I know that seems like a weirdly self-serving sentence to put in here, but I just like the fact that we don't need a full production team to make high quality content - if I can do it, you can too. There isn't much that you can't learn with a good ol' Google search. Except how to stop being a terrible person. Jk you're not a terrible person. Or maybe you are, honestly I have no idea. I don't think you are, though. Terrible people don't read this far into meaningless YouTube video descriptions. I love you.

One thing that has always blown me away about Carter as a drummer is the feel he has when he plays with his hats. Maybe its a consequence of the way his drums (open handed), but the space between (no pun intended) the hat notes is something that I think always adds a lot to DMB songs, and you captured that so well in this cover. Outstanding cover man.

This song means a lot to me. It's why i started drumming. I remember using Limewire way back when to download drum videos. The one with Carter playing this song was the best! Honorable mention to Chad & Flee's drum instructional video

Ive seen carter play this live probably 30-40 times over the years. This was really close. Its extremely hard to sound like Carter. Ive always viewed you as a pop pocket drummer, then you go and play a Dave song better than anyone ive seen cover Carter to date. Well done Cobus.
