Hi guys and happy Wednesday. I recorded this one last week, and it was a chill, fun & productive Friday. I came across a very interesting bread recipe that I had to try out. It is a protein-rich, gluten free & grain-free bread that was very easy to make. I didn't have high hopes for the taste but it actually was super yummy. I really enjoy when you send me pictures when you try out the recipes that I make in my videos so please send me pics if you try this one out! One of my best friends here in Copenhagen is moving back to Iceland and that got me to thinking about my friendships here in Copenhagen and I would love to hear if you guys have experienced something similar and how you reacted to it. I hope you will enjoy this slow and chatty video and I will see you next week my loves. big hugs xx

Brita, having been living abroad for many years now as well I totally understand where you’re coming from about making friends/efforts to expand your social circle. I think once you really feel the need to do so, you’ll find your people in no time when you’re brave and lovable enough to build a global community here on YouTube ! Have a great rest of the week and thanks for sharing your daily life as well as the thoughts that cross your mind! <3

Your positivity, I mean your energy reflects your home as well and I love it🪐💙

Mathilda has to be one of the most beautiful animals I have ever seen ❤ I appreciate the friendships chat. It is a bit hard to make new friendships as an adult especially if you're an introvert like me. I have a pretty small friend circle but I don't mind. It's definitely quality over quantity 💌 congratulations on the Canon collaboration 👏✨️

Almost 150k! Proud of you❤️. As always, thank you so much for making Wednesday better. Have a good week

hi hi, leftover yolks are great for pasta sauce!  if you cook some pasta (maybe gluten free if you want), keep a few cups of the cooking water, in a separate pan fry some garlic or bacon or veg or whatever you want, turn off the heat and then add the pasta, pasta water and egg yolks + some parmesan and whatever seasonings, it turns out super nice and creamy. also homemade hollandaise sauce!
  • Hey there Birta, can't really speak for others but as for a remote worker in the CET zone - the timing of the diaries release is spot-on for a lunch break 💜 Thanks!
  • I love that you share your collaborations and the bts, I find that so different from the other content creators! I also really appreciate the work you guys with Helgei put to post every Wednesday! Keep up the good work and wish you a lot of success! xx

Loved the vlog 🥰 that part with the pillows was funny, I knew immediately that the pillow was wrong way. It’s funny how sometimes our brains can work 😅

Thank your for sharing your experience of friendship. Living different country and speaking different language make you like difficult to make close friends… if someone move away from near you, there will be a new chance or time to spend someone else. Also as other comments said, your brave and lovable that you build in your community will definitely make closer friends in reality too! And this is totally off the topic but i just wanted to tell you that i went to Copenhagen for honeymoon last week! I had been really wanted to visit there since I started watching your YouTube channel and finally dream came true! It was a beautiful, cozy and peaceful city as your video. I really like food( especially breads and coffee so good), people and atmosphere…! Your videos inspired me sooo much and has become a great help for trip! Thank you so much for inspiration💕 it became a definitely one of my favourite countries I’d like to visit again! hopefully soon. ❤️ from Japan
  • Thanks for your honesty and vulnerability in your friendships chat 💛 I moved to Copenhagen few months ago and even though the city offers so many opportunities to meet new people, it can take a lot of effort to invest in those relationships, create deeper bonds and find those people with whom you can be 100% yourself. I'm sure we'll both get there! You are such a lovely person with the best energy , so I wouldn't worry 🥰 On another note, I need to try baking this bread, it sounds so good & nourishing! Just need to find bottled egg whites in the city 🙃

Wednesdays are my favourite when I get to watch a new upload from you two! I totally understand how you feel about moving away and not really having close friends. I think as we get older this a natural occurrence especially if you have a significant other by your side :)

whenever i feel down, your videos are so comforting to watch! you radiate such a positive energy 🩷

Love hearing your reflections about living in CHP as an icelandic and friendship while in a long-term relationship. Sending you a hug Birta!!! <3
  • Hi Brita! I absolutely adore your videos. I started watching your vlogs last year just by chance...probably because I have had a very nice time when visiting Copenhagen a couple of years ago...anyway I was hooked into your vlogs very quickly because you are so natural and dinamic.. Love all what you do and also like watching you and your fiance enjoying life together cooking, travelling experimenting the joy of life. Thank you very much for radiating so much energy and optimism....Love you both a big hug from Knysna , South Africa ❤

Londoner in Stockholm here and I can say that birds of a feather DO flock together . It’s amazing to meet and have friends from everywhere when you move abroad but it’s not easy. Having a friend locally who speaks the same language and comes from the same culture definitely makes the experience sweeter x

I had messaged you about some recommendations on Copenhagen last week and thank you for sending me your map! I have arrived today to Copenhagen and the Royal library garden is my favorite place so far 🇩🇰 Thanks!!
  • Loved this video. Birta you are so sweet, transparent and lovely. The bread looks so good 😋 need the recipe 🤩🤩🤩
