We are so far behind in the science on gut issues. We are basically throwing things at the wall and hoping they work. No one really knows how to cure chronic, persistent gut issues, it's really too bad. I appreciate you both for trying to do everything you can to get a hold of it.
  • The SIBO yogurt described in the book Super Gut by Dr William Davis has been much more beneficial for me in eliminating SIBO than the various anti microbials described here (which I tried last year with limited success). I highly recommend looking for Dr Davis’s videos here on YouTube. Best wishes.
  • I have spent two years and thousands of dollars trying to resolve my issues. There needs to be a hospital or clinic for people with chronic issues that they can travel to and get help. Gastroenterology has a whole is completely worthless! All they want to do a bunch of test, take your money and then tell you to take antibiotics or Prilosec and then they are done with you once they’ve tapped you dry. It’s disgusting the way they treat people who are suffering!

There's a video on YT of a guy that used ginger extract and artichoke extract capsules to treat SIBO.

I am surprised that you never mentioned that many people react to sulfur.
  • @dollydon8547
Too much of discussing the names of microbes and the disease but no discussion on what to do about it, or a treatment for it.
  • I've stood staring at shelves of bottles of MSM before, but not knowing that it can be used for SIBO, too. Interesting! Can't wait to see its impact on my daughter for her chronic constipation. Will investigate for mold, too. Interesting info on the chronic sinus infections and speculations, too. Would be stunning if you are getting funding for your meal replacement studies 🙏 crowd funding maybe?

A simple and easy parasite cleanse without going down the antimicrobial path could be eating fresh pineapple on an empty stomach for a couple days, also pumpkin seeds (raw) are great as well. I had parasite testing done and everything came back negative, however I did do a 2 month protocol of Candibactin AR and BR and passed some weird looking things on the second day! Those supplements alone are antiparasitic! It was a nice plus to see honestly 😂
  • I have some of the worst and most severe gastrointestinal problems that my family and friends have ever seen. Also the worst I have ever seen. I have been dealing with gastrointestinal issues since I was 17 years old and they get worse and worse every year. I also have MCAS, Lyme Disease, mold toxicity (but out of mold now for 3 years), extreme bloating and swelling, extreme constipation, SIBO, candida, gastritis, gastroparesis - pretty much everything imaginable. So if I can help in any way with the study, I would be glad to. If you need an extreme case of bloating or SIBO and candida, for example. I'd be glad to help.

How can vetrinarians see worms and different parasites so easy but western med drs cant?
  • @pachuco1674
Dr. Ruscio, do you have shortness of breath and derealization because of Babesia and or Bartonella?
  • We have to remember not to over complicate everything. Instead of taking everything away, surgery, mold, figuring out all the infections we have, we need to focus on vitamin/mineral deficiencies, and eating nothing but fruit, veggies, and lean protein. Obviously taking away anything causing inflammation, which could be the infections themselves. So when we are changing our ways and diet and even lifestyle, it becomes easier to heal and finally cure ourselves. For some raw heals us, for others, possibly can make them feel worse… everyone is very different. The main takeaway is it’s ALL inflammation, inflammation due to gut health, pathogens, and or foods that are hurting you. 😉

Dumb question, but can mold in your house cause one to struggle with a systemic fungal/candida infection? Also, Thoughts on S. Boulardii for Seb Derm?
  • Great topic. Thanks.why go round and round with out diving in the subject? 7 minutes and still waiting for garlic to be mentioned.
  • Fungus goes with parasites the one test that found my parasites was a test that I did hair nails and saliva idk the name of the test but it showed how bad my system was I’m now doing all the cellcore protocols
  • Maybe my poor focus. I've rewatched to listen for the new SIBO treatment? Do i just eat a bunch of garlic.. do i take msn with it? I'm desperate 😢😢

Very interesting analogy about sinus infection. Last September I got very sick with some gut infection, I even thought I was gonna die within a week. Somehow survived and a month later sinusitis started in the right side which is still on going and flares up if I going of carnivore diet, later i started to get pain in my knee and coincidently started drinking coffee, which I didnt before. Does anyone know good ENT in London UK?
  • I’m only 5 minutes into the video and already know which lab you are referring to bc my test was also + for both Giardia and Crypto while the 5 (five!) other stool tests with different companies were negative for parasites. I’m upset bc my practitioner talked me into taking a round or nasty Flagyl, which caused peripheral neuropathy and other issues. I’m not happy
  • I did my LYme testing with Armin Lab in Germany. I am in Canada but my ND drew my blood and shipped it over. I did the Tickplex Plus panel and after that came back and we saw what I had been exposed to, we did follow up Elispot testing to see which infections were active in my body and which ones were dormant with the thinking being...you don't want to go in with guns blazing if things are dormant. In my case, everything was pretty much non-active so we worked on immune modulation and I did use IV ozone. I didn't really notice anything from it, so i only did a few sessions. My understanding is that there are really only a couple of labs that are accurate for Lyme testing - Armin in Germany and Igenix in the US. Do you know of others? I paid about $1500 CAD for my testing.
