Since 1988 every athlete who won the Olympic gold medal in the pommel horse were either reigning world champion or european chsmpion going into the Olympics.

A most difficult apparatus great work and skills by these champions

I feel Urzica should have won also 2004…. After so many years, Xiao Qin is still the GOAT on the apparatus, even the performance 2008 wasn’t the best…

I'm just imagining all the banged knees and charley horses these guys get during practice.

I’d just like to mention Louis smith who won a bronze at Beijing and silvers at London and rio :))
  • @Jukka70
Just amazing, and that has got to be the hardest apparatus by far. It's taken out more athletes
  • Khristian from Hungary is so elegant on the pommel horse! Nice long lines

This guys definitely done his time on a pommel horse!
  • @penguinbelly
It's like their skills and strength devolve over time.
  • Imagine what Max Whitlock would score if he pointed his toes like everybody else at this level! Like 17 or 18!
