My first time making a captioned speed paint tutorial! :D

The whole painting was done in 1 hour, but OBS didn't record part of the process for some reason. Sorry about that!

I'm very new to recording and captioning my work process, so please let me know how I can improve with everything! Are the captions going too fast? Are the instructions clear enough? Any suggestion is appreciated! :D

It never ceases to impress me that people can do such artpieces in so little time. This would take me hours, and the result would surely not be this impressive.

I'm a fast reader and I had to pause constantly to read the captions. It's not that I couldn't read them quick enough, but there was not enough time to look back up at the painting between each caption-- so I could choose reading, or watching the painting, but not both. The explanations were very good, though. The only other thing I would suggest is to slow down the timelapse a bit. 1hr into 3 minutes loses a lot of detail. But that's just personal preference. :) Really enjoyed this and would love to see more! I've been a fan of your artwork for a while now, and you are a source of inspiration to me as a developing artist. Thank you for the work you give the world!

Wow. This is a great combination of speedpaint and instructions, especially with the pause button handy. It can be watched just straight through with the speed paint, and we don't have to wait for the next instructions to be told or loaded, instead choosing our own pace. Great system, and of course, awesome artwork!!

Looks beautiful. Love the captions too. Don't be afraid to take your time, you can have the recording fit in two songs if you want. 40-50 minutes of recording felt crammed in just 4 minutes of playback and sometimes, I couldn't even finish reading the caption before another one comes up. 8x was comfortable watching the process alone. With captions, I think it will do just fine as well. Also, maybe you can have some of the recording cut if you think there's nothing much going on. Just a suggestion. I like your choice of music too, so I don't mind hearing another or two in one video. Lastly, I really want to hear you talk (haha), but it's your decision anyway. Good luck on the next one. :)
