When I was 21 I was diagnosed with cancer. When I left the doctor's office after receiving the news, this song was the first thing that started playing on the car stereo. I decided I could take it as either a cruel joke or a rallying cry. That was nine years ago yesterday. This song still brings tears to my eyes. I love this band.

On the worst day, this song has the power to make me feel alive... it’s such a beautiful day!!!

This song is legendary

Ahhh man. It doesn't matter if Bono is 20, 40, 60 or 100. His voice is still brilliant 🤩
-
Tears. My wife and I walked into our wedding reception with the studio version. Still going strong 18 years later.
-
Never get tired of Edge’s intro for this song honestly could just listen to that part all day lol
-
The girl in the choir at 3.18 says with her eyes to her friend - 'we ain't ever gonna forget this, are we' 👍

everyone, the operators, the violin, piano, bass guitar, most importantly the players, the lyrics, the atmosphere, the the sound system, and you having ears to hear this song and able to appreciate it. All that to make this LEGENDARY CONCERT. THIS IS "GOD" Level Orchestration. Glory to God. Thank you for Bono.

If you’re listening this masterpiece in 2021, you’re a hero.

Bono is 57 and still has such amazing vocals.....
-
The Starman interlude with the last verse is simply awesome... Takes it to another level altogether. 19 years and this is still my No.1 song of all time.
-
To be honest, I think it’s the best version I’ve ever heard. Brilliant. Mind blowing
-
There is nothing more motivating than this song when hearing my alarm before going to work, and knowing that a BEAUTIFUL DAY begins ...
-
That was a fucking flawless performance. They’re one of the few bands that sound even better live than they do in the studio
-
I never get tired of hearing this song, and this performance just gave me goosebumps it's so good.
-
I can only imagine what it mus5 have felt like in that studio as they recorded that. Part of perfection.

Amazing voice of Bono after all those years and superclean sound of The Edge across all the performance Loved them since October back in the 80’s. They were fresh air at the time. They still have soul. Brilliant
