Since y'all loved my Tool version so much, I decided to make one for Alice in Chains' breakout 1991 single, "Apple Bottom Jeans" featured on a rare B-sides version of their album, Facelift. ;-)

Jokes and memes aside, AIC was hugely influential in my musical path, and I currently live in Layne Staley's hometown outside of Seattle, so I feel humbled in making this Apple Bottom version of Man In The Box. Layne had such power and control of his voice with a rich vibrato and amazingly clean and controlled vocal fry. I can only dream of coming anywhere close to what he could belt out seemingly effortlessly. RIP Layne and Mike.

  • @SPACYtunes
The fact that you have a ridiculously good voice makes this even funnier lol.

This is just he best one I’ve seen so far beside the Tool Ænima one

I'm literally high at 2am and thought I was listening to the actual song
  • You are an absolute godlike entity. Best LOW in the game, sir. The fact you can even hit Layne or Maynard's register, tambre, and vibrato for a shitpost makes me happy.

this is easily one of the best, it lines up so well with the original song. using 'low' for the talkbox parts is genius
  • @Pilarski.
This video is underrated.... See yall in 8-10 years when this blows up for the 2nd time...
  • Anybody who thinks this is super weird should check out their old demos as well as the demos for Layne's band Alice N Chains. They were pretty sleazy glam metal. Lyrically, it's not too far off from something they would have written in 1986-1987.

You are without a doubt making the best of these. Actually making the lyrics fit to the original and not to mention your fantastic singing. Chef's Kiss 👌

I added this to my public mega-playlist of these covers. And this one is the best yet! Oh my god SO accurate. I’ve listened on repeat. Truly amazing man.

the BEST one so far objectively holy shit. please make more grunge parodies of Apple Bottom Jeans. You're so perfect for it.
  • @Set2Wumbo
This is probably the best parody version of this trend I've seen Actually sounds like the band, and the lyrics don't sound forced
