When tragedy strikes, GoFundMe is the place to go to raise money. Last year, $10 million was raised for the victims of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting. There are hundreds of worthy causes on the site, but sometimes GoFundMe is used by criminals trying to defraud good-hearted people. Reid Herjo claimed on GoFundMe that his 13-week-old puppy, Atlas, was badly injured in a car accident. Hundreds of people were so moved, they sent in $14,065, but it turns out there was no car accident. #InsideEdition

The worst part of all of this is that the puppy ended up dying “under suspicious circumstances”. He stole $15,000 and killed a puppy. This guy is irredeemable.

This angers me to no end. My dog of 10yrs needed emergency surgery and I raised a go fund me for the first time was was only able to raise $1500 but my dog didn’t make it. I appreciated the friends and family that did help me but what this man dude was truly discussing and cruel

Gofundme is such a good site to help those in need but seeing stories like this wherer people abuse the system is such a let down.
