  • This is pretty meta; an original song, meant for a completely unique instrument, played on an entirely different completely unique instrument.
  • @Wintergatan
This is the next level!!! I love what you did with the song, that middle solo is Fantastic, I want to write an original piece of music for the floppotron some day! And congrats to 100K keep going we want more! Martin

Why do I feel like this is the result of the Floppotron looking at the Marble Machine and going 'I can do that! I've got way more RAM! Hold my drink!"

Marvel: Infinity War is the ultimate crossover event Me: um excuse me

The part that played in place of the breakdown of Marble Machine was a part of Jump by Two Steps From Hell in case anyone was wondering.
  • A song made with a marble contraption then made on floppy drives. That's like two levels deep nice. I think you would do ra ra Rasputin next.

This is a beautiful tribute to an incredible feat of engineering, played by another incredible feat of engineering. Brings a tear to my eye.

I HAVE TO tell you something. I found Floppotron two years ago. A month ago a friend of mine (who is a music teacher) told me about some amazing guy who built a machine that plays music with marbles. So I sent her Floppotron work. And guess what? YouTube suggested me watching... Marble Machine ;-))). So the whole month I watch and listen Wintergatan, I'm actually addicted to Marble Machine, so to say. I'm spending countless hours watching covers of it ( currently there are 80 on official playlist) and... There you go: Floppotron cover of Wintergatan - Marble Machine. Yaaaay!!! Thank you both, Martin and Paweł!

You need to do Popcorn. I don't care if it is the original or the 1972 remix, it just needs to be done.

from analog to digital. beautiful, and both versions are played on extremely unique instruments

nice i think wintergatan would Love this😜
  • @Claydood
I love that even the breakdown noise from the marble machine stopping is in there. Nice work. Such a nice way to use old computer parts that are no longer used rather than throwing them away.
  • Wintergatan would get a kick out of this cover, because of how unique the "floppotron" is as a music machine! He LOVES this kind of innovation.

Wow, I don't think I can't handle this anymore. Those are my two favourite music making things combined!
  • honestly, you and Wintergatan gotta make a collab some day, that would be amazing.
