This is just Part 1 people. Part 2 will be uploaded tomorrow. Ryder's glove save is already in Part 2. Chara is in Part 2. There's 25+ clips in Part 2 so I'm sure I've covered the clips you want.

Pretty sure half of Rask's salary has gone to pay for his defenders' dinners

9:18 The player might’ve made the save, but that was a slick glove grab by Bishop

LMAO 7:45 Bryzgalov literally just watches it like bro at least try to scoop it after

I hope all these players got recognition in the locker room. Every one of those saves was phenomenal.
  • @MrSpeeeeeder
Great editing as usual.....damn the reaction time of those defensemen is amazing.

Should rename this video “Rask almost letting in dribblers but his defense save the day”
  • @Noledad77
I love these kinds of plays. Even when it happens twice to my Wings. Selfless efforts by good teammates are always appreciated.

Shot blocks have become the last bastion of 'old school' hockey, it is a part of the game that will never go away. Sacrificing your body to prevent a goal will never fade in the game. It take incredible knowledge of the game to know that a blocked shot can make the difference betweena win or a lose or the cup/championship. Defensemen are often not paid as much as the goal scorers of an NHL team but they are often just as important or more important than those players. Respect the defensmen o your team because they are often the deciding factors between winning and losing even if it is not obviously apperent.

As a defensman myself. One of the best feelings in the game of hockey is stopping a goal from a player that you know is better than you. Many of these plays show that. Pure defensive players often do not get the respect that they deserve. Many times it comes down to the playoffs that they get recognized. This is one of the major differences between good teams and great teams.
  • 5:24 was a great save considering he was the one that put it on net for an almost own goal in the first place xD
