  • 1:19:51 sindhu just picked the marin's racket and placed it outside the court. respect towards sport and equipment in indian way.

Although any Indian would have badly wanted a gold for Sindhu, Marin's reaction on winning was so pure, had me in tears.
  • Got goosebumps, Indians shld encourage badminton and tennis not only cricket

Sindhu is a wonderful player and a very nice person, her behaviour during and at the end of the match was very nice, this is a true sportsmanship. You lost the match but you won the hearts Sindhu, you are the pride of India.

Gotta laud Sindhu's smile even after losing gold....so hard to conceal that anger

Although I know Sindhu's gotta get the silver medal but still each time she's making points I am like 'yess yess' Loved it watching both of them ๐Ÿ˜Šโค
  • A couple of years ago, nobody would have thought that a spanish women's singles player would become 2x world champion & olympic champion. Fernando Rivas really did an amazing job discovering Carolina and developing her into a top player.

The difference is that Carolina Marin was more sharp at the net and her repertoire of strokes won her the gold.On the other hand,Sindhu looked very tense and seemed unsure of herself but she did make a fight of it in the first set.

Both of these players. Carolina and Pusarla are my "loves", badminton favorites. I would like both players to have Olympic gold medals and Carolina one more. Greetings from the Czech republic.
  • Even loosing against Marin, Sindhu's behaviour towards her OMG so lovely. Good sportsmanship. Sindhu carried racquet of Marin out of the court. What a lovely moment.
