I prefer Paralympic Opening than Olympic Opening. And I'm crying when I saw that little girl using her all power to take off. This is so heatwarming.

A job well done, Tokyo! The story of the one-wing plane really got me emotional. I joined in when everyone was clapping, encouraging her to spread her wings. If I dare say, better opening ceremony than the Olympics this year.

For some reason, the Paralympics Opening ceremony has managed to uplift the optimism and festive atmosphere that the Olympics Opening Ceremony had to forgo out of respect of the year’s events affecting the mood. The fact that the games have been a cathartic mood uplifter reflects in the Paralympics Opening Ceremony as the games season went on, in short. Lots of airport nostalgia in there too for those who remember travel before 2020 fell. Inspiring message and a cosy story indeed too, and for all the faith in the world, best wishes on the athletes competing and showing the world the best!

I Can’t believe it’s been a year since this AMAZING Opening ceremony 👏🏻

As a student volunteer, i had the honor to participate all the process of Beijing 2008 Olympic. I was there for the opening ceremony, and my classmates and I were so moved that we cried together. I was in charge of traffic control at the basketball arena throughout the basketball game and got to meet all the big international players in person. Looking back on it all now, I am so blessed.

We have 6 Filipino Paralympians from the Philippines and we are ready to face the Tokyo Paralympics event. Last Rio 2016, the Philippines received one medal and that is bronze. We hope that we will get more medals in Paralympics and the country would set a new record.

That's better opening ceremony than on Olympic Games in July.
