Inside number 9 'Crackers & Cheese' Cry Tears of Laughter

“Goodbye old pal” Reece Shearsmiths delivery of that line is one of the finest pieces of acting I’ve ever seen by anyone.

Damn, this episode was really well-written and depressing, made me cry/10.

Probably my favourite episode out of them all. This one definitely hit me.

Cried like a bitch-anyone not moved when he shouts “YOU WERE ALWAYS PISSED LEN!” Is a cyborg.

Steve said in an interview that he wants this played at his funeral... I can just imagine Reece crying his eyes out when it’s played

Many people bang on about 12 Days of Christine, which didn't move me half as much as Bernie Clifton did. The whole "you were always pissed" bit is usually enough to move me to tears, and then comes the realisation that one of them's gone, and then the song... I think the fact that Reece and Steve themselves have been such close friends for so long adds to the poignancy of the episode.

This episode was writing perfection. Which is something that is expected from any previous members of league of gentlemen. But this particular with this incredible double act in shearsmith and pemberton having written it and then performed it as a simple two hander. Genuine perfection in my opinion

I kept thinking throughout the majority of this episode, "This is really well-acted, but a bit cheesy for Inside No. 9. Damn, did I underestimate this show...again. I'll never learn, and I love the way this series subverts my expectations. This was such a beautiful episode.

I work as a Support Worker and sing this with one of the residents I look after, he laughs every time I sing it and I leave him to complete the line..... Me "Laughter is my....." then Peter will sing.... "Memory, of you!"

Best overall episode of Inside No. 9 there is, even over the 12 Days Of Christine which made me cry when the twist hit, but Bernie Cliftons Dressing Room made me cry before the twist hit, and when it did, I was an F*n mess. Brilliant moment in television.

This show is something special but that's because the writing and acting are sublime. This show conveyed so many emotions realistically and maturely. Made you laugh, dread, sad, melancholy and longing after the episode. It distill a sense of realism that this could be what 2 old friends would go through but end up still being best friends

Just watched this brilliant masterpiece from Shearsmith and Pemberton . There are many theories about which comedy duo they had in mind . The Telegraph plumped for James Bolam and Rodney Bewes , others went for Cannon and Ball or Morecambe and Wise . My own guess is that the story relates more about the partnership of Lennie Bennett and Jerry Stevens , who starred for ITV in the comedy slot vacated by Morecambe & Wise . Bennett broke up the partnership after 3 years before going on to " bigger and better " things - presenting his own shows etc. Shearsmith and Pemberton are geniuses.

I see myself as a hardened American guy when it comes to schmaltz in film and TV. But this episode had me in stitches. I started crying so much towards the end. That’s when you know the power of a story. Good job gents!

This epsidoe has to be my favourite epsiode ever of inside number 9, beutifly written with the acting being class as always but I do have to admit evrytime I watch an inside number 9 and realise what's been happening I ussaly get a cick, with this I got a cick up the backside with so much emotion, this has to be one of if not the only inside numebr 9 epsidoe I cried at!!!

I can't believe it'd 3 yrs since I upped this, and to be honest, as brill as Inside no.9 is, I don't think any other season / episode has hit the spot more than this, Beanie Cs Dressing room..
