  • Nani to me is such an under appreciated example of female empowerment. She doesn’t have super powers or feel the need to prove her worth to anybody other than herself. She’s willing to give up the things that most teens take for granted just so that she and her sister can live under the same roof. Not only is she an amazing character, she’s a role model!
  • You know, it never occurred to me just how wild it is that the movie takes a low-key family drama and a cartoonish alien adventure, and melds them together so well. Even if there are a couple moments where the goofy aliens muddy the tone a bit, the fact that it's not a total mess is itself astounding. Great review!

Yo wait WHY DOES THIS HAVE SO FEW VEIWS??? ExUse ME?? Broski this is awesome. I’ve always loved Lilo and Stitch, and having its amazing points articulated like this is so cool! Plus your editing is on par with a lot of more beloved commentary channels, so I was honestly flabbergasted when I saw your view count. Idk how your current videos are doing, so this may be a given, but keep it up man! :D
  • You like Diet shafe it's so interesting to hear you talk about things

actually nani did get an award, several in fact! it's just that they were for surfing, since she was going to be a pro surfer as an adult, but had to give that up after her parents died...

I wasn't really a fan of post-renaissance, pre-revival films, largely because they weren't original musicals, nor did the scale of the film feel as large as previous films. That said, I appreciate L&S for it's heart.
