This video is about Apple, but mainly; it’s about Tim Cook. His journey, and how he carried a legacy to greater heights than anyone thought possible. Apple, completely and utterly, would not exist without Steve Jobs; and though his gifts to the world can be seen in the incredible technology of his legacy, the Mac, the iPod, the iPhone… The greatest thing he ever did… *for Apple*… was Tim Cook.

Steve was the visionary, the enigma, the polarizing leader that bent the world, and the people around him, to his vision of perfection… but Tim… Tim is the workhorse in the background, the logistics genius, the leader that finds perfection *in* the people and technology around him, and gets the job done.

Steve Jobs made Apple. Tim Cook made Apple the most successful company on the planet. Here’s how he did it.

We worked really hard on this. Thanks for watching it. :) ❤️ - Jern and Bern PS: Watch on TV / listen on good speakers or wear headphones for best experience.

I genuinely hope that Tim Cook sees this for himself in its entirety. This was incredible.

As someone who worked for Steve and then Tim for a whopping 10 years of my life there is nothing else you can say. You nailed this sir and you deserve all the respect in the world for breaking it down for everyone in a digestible way. 11/10 would watch again.

I love how Steve told Tim, “Run Apple how Tim would run Apple, not how Steve would run Apple”

Great Job Jon! So well done and great walk back through the Chapter of Tim Cook so far.

My tenure at Apple was from 1993–2022. Not a big sexy engineer role or whatnot, but having been there watching everything that happened in this documentary, this was really well done. Apple’s never been a perfect company, however it’s been something I was involved with for over half my life. Cheers for making this.

This documentary surpasses most of the mediocre content on Netflix. It captivated me from the opening scene to the final credits. The narration, the montage, the soundtrack and the narration are all superb. As a filmmaker, I can attest that I have witnessed a work of art.

French viewer, 23yo, never known Apple without Tim, what a mind-blowing documentary, cheers mate!

I worked on the Vision Pro announcement video you put in the end and man…. that made me kinda emotional. Been following this company’s story for my entire life and this video made it really hit home how far I’ve come. Beautiful video!❤

I can feel the inseparable connection between me, a viewer and the speaker here. The style of presentation, everything, makes it the best documentary I’ve ever watched. My respect for Tim Cook, as well as Steve Jobs, just got skyrocketed.
  • One hell of a documentary, extremely well made. Watching at the fact that two guys spent their lives building something they truly care about and Tim Cook again passing on the baton to his next generation just gives me goosebumps, it's like nurturing a child, I guess that's why people often say that a business is their child.

This requires an award. This was great Jon. I'm not an Apple fanboi but I do appreciate the brand and its success. Amazing.

Incredible work. I grew up with Steve and now with Tim, I always felt he was going to make things right but never imagined he’d do it so well.
  • @Siverly
So well done and edited, Jon. The use of the hand-dropped photos was brilliant. This is on the level of 60 Minutes, honestly. You should be proud of what you and your team have done.
  • Jon and Brian, I don’t usually leave comments. I’ve been a fan of FPT for about 5 years. This was the best work on this channel and I dare say, any Apple oriented channel on the you tubes. Thank you! This deserves an award. I hope Tim watches this and feels the love that you and lots of us have for him and Apple.

Jon and Brian, watching this documentary was like Picasso, Mozart, all the greats of their generation combined in 1 documentary. I have seen a lot in my 69 years. This is a MASTERPIECE OF JOURNALISM that you have created. I got so emotional that I was close to tears. YOU GUYS KILLED, CRUSHED OBLITERATED THIS UNBELIEVABLE DOCUMENTARY IN A WAY THAT I HAVE VERY SELDOM SEEN. IF YOU AND BRIAN NEVER DO A SIMILAR DOC OR ANY DOC FOR THAT MATTER, NO THIS: THIS IS PURE GENIUS!!!!
  • Very nice documentation but I’m curious why you didn’t mention the drop outs of so many important people under Tim Cook like Scott Forstall, Phil Schiller and Jony Ive. They were absolutely essential under Steve Jobs.
