“The power of memories and expectations is such that for most human beings the past and the future are not as real, but more real than the present. The present cannot be lived happily unless the past has been “cleared up”

T&H Inspiration is on a mission to share inspiring wisdom. The goal is to have you pause, think, and reflect. Many of our videos revolve around the extraordinary teachings of Alan Watts that we produce with permission from the Alan Watts Electronic University.

T&H also films and releases original interviews with iconic people who have experienced successes, while also persevering through life's highs and lows. We look forward to sharing more of these perspectives and insights.

Our hope with these videos is to push your thinking. As Alan Watts said “No one is more dangerously insane than one who is sane all the time: he is like a steel bridge without flexibility, and the order of his life is rigid and brittle.” – Alan Watts.

The past is a distorted memory, the future is a concept. This moment is all there is, ever has been, ever will be. I wear a watch, it broke years ago, but I still wear it because it reminds me that it is always now 🙏

Now more than fifty years after his death , Alan Watts is still one of the best teachers of the nature of reality.
  • @mickwinters3509
Immediately reminds me of people shooting videos at rock concerts and experiencing the show through their screen instead of watching the stage
  • I do not wish to be patronising to anyone reading this or stating the obvious at the same time to other readers, but I truly believe that to really understand and hear what AW is saying, takes many listens, many experiences and an open mind. It had taken me so long to really feel what he is saying.

"All places are the same place, and the only time you ever notice any difference is in the moment you transition" - Alan Watts
  • i remember after my daughter died, (when i was in process of getting a degree in digital media arts) i took my camera equipment to hawaii for an education break, and was sitting on this beach and saw this TRIPLE YES TRIPLE rainbow coming my way across the ocean, i felt i couldnt experience the beauty and joy of the moment just taking pictures, so i took 1 snapshot if this incoming rainbow phenomenon and laid my camera down on the sand, i stood up and walked towards the incoming rainbow and suddenly a tall blond man on my left and a tall blonde man on my right grasped my hands and lifted me up in the rainbow as it misted upon us all, right after that i quit my education real eyesing that i just wanted to experience life within the magical moments instead of trying to document the moments from outside of the actual moments experience, later as i looked at the images i had been taking, i saw my daughters face in the clouds of this magical rainbow, i proceeded to paint that image on a canvas knowing i got to EXPERIENCE the beauty of her essence within the moment itself, i will never forget that

Forget about the past Forget about the future, there is only now . Made me feel when i was young
  • The older I get, the fewer pictures I take. Not intentionally, but just as a natural consequence of paying attention.

Allan Watts is always someone you want to listen to. Everything he says is not one word wasted.

You can really do both, enjoy the moment and also take a few pictures. 20, 30 years down the road, the feeling, the memory will be diminished but digging up the old photos and looking at the people with you, that may be gone now, at the place you once enjoyed will bring a jolt to the good memories you had before, priceless.

In my present moment I exist with parents that disowned me, my own children don’t speak to me, multiple failed relationships realisation of false friendships … I am alone. Like you reading this, a fan of Alan Watts and many like him… I have realised life, awoken to the truth of others behaviours… I have let go ….yet the echo remains.

I spent most of my families holidays, looking through the view finder, only to never look at the video footage again.

I am afraid of flying and when I do it, I listen to Alan Watts videos. It helps me so much to calm down during the flight… his voice has this calmness….
  • @T-Woman
I have felt this so many times but haven't heard it explained so eloquently.
  • @juliahfl
I realized I was getting too attached to things that were not getting attached to me. That changed everything.
  • I am amazed at how true and existential are Alan’s insights are. You go ”aha” time after time as you listen to him.
  • Alan Watts is the only guide I've ever needed and the only guide I'll ever need. No heaven. No pie in the sky. Just clear common sense. The outcome is up to me. I'm more than satisfied with that.
  • @BigConqueror
The music was perfect this time. Wherever Alan Watts is, God bless him for solving one of my life's biggest sorrows, holding on to losing my mom and every pain that came with it I have carried it with me 15years now. Let it all go, you can do it I promise. Thank you T & H❤
