Hey guys! Here are my thoughts on the LL Bean Boots vs. Hunter Boots for rain and snow.

I have the hunter, no problems with mine. I thought about the ll bean ones but to wear year round i find the hunter more practical. I do have the socks for my hunter and that makes them perfect in the winter.

I think it kinda depends on off you need a boot that will cover more of your legs the L.L Bean boots do look nice but not great because your more likely to get water and snow in them because they don't cover at much The second pair of Hunters might have been a bit to big for you I had a pair of Dr. Martins and they were just a little to big the heel par would cut up the back of my foot from rubbing it because I wear a size 2-3 and my D. Martins were a side 4

Your first hunters were the "refined" style which is why they were more comfortable for you.

I have 3 pair of hunter boots and had them for years and they still look new the ll bean they didn't last me even a month coz the heals messed up i guess coz im pegion toed and this boot couldn't handle me 😭😭😭😭

Thank you. This is exactly what I was looking for. Are the LL Bean boots warm enough for snow or to wear as snow shoes? (Same question for the Hunter boot with the sock)

Hunter boots are now made in China, L.L. Bean's are still being made in Maine. So the choice is obvious.
