So funny you posted this! I JUST found two cracks in my pair of Hunters. I bought the matte navy original boot 5 years ago, just before I started my bachelors in agriculture. In the last five years, I've worn them consistently all year round in the crazy Canadian weather, I've worn them in back fields while herding sheep and cattle, or going to get horses. I do work in the yard in them, or wear them to go play with the dogs in the forest or by the lake. I don't use them lightly, that's for sure, so to have them only crack after 5 years is good enough for me! I've definitely been rough on them, I honestly think all I've done is hose them off once in a while to get the big chunks of mud and manure off, and that's about it :P I'll definitely get a matte black pair next, I wear black pretty frequently so it's the better choice for me.

Im size 6.5.. what size should I get the 6 or 7?

After you clean the boots, you are supposed to rub them down with olive oil. This is "instead of" buying the Hunter brand products.

This was actually useful to me, since I’m about to buy a pair of bright glossy pink hunters, but there’s a funny sound over all of the video, and it could really use some background music. 🤷‍♀️

I bought a pair of Hunter Boots last Christmas here in Ireland and not even a year later after some light walks they are letting in water around where my foot bends. Apparently Hunter Boots have moved production away from Scotland to China and the quality of the boots has drastically dropped since the move. Because i couldn't locate my receipt Hunter customer care refused to help me. Expensive, don't last & Last pair of Hunter boots i'll ever purchase.

The Blooming is because the Boots are no longer Gum Dipped the Proper Old scottish made Hunters never Bloomed unlike the Cheap Chinese or Indonesian boots Hunter now make.
