What I learned about handwriting improvement

And I have successfully incorporated it into my daily use.
Glad that some of my colleagues call me "The Fountain Pen"
This clip is the summary of what I learnt and my own thoughts about handwriting, or penmanship.
Fountain pen is better than ball point pens in that it controls your hand movement. Especially for broad edge nib like the one I'm using, once your finger moves and tilts the pen angle up or down, left or right, the lines will skip as the nib does not have full contact with the paper.
I hope this clip can serve to enlighten somebody who wants to write better, just like me, who was scolded by mom for the past 20 years for bad handwriting.
(Now I have effectively shut her up, ha ha.)
My pen: Lamy AL-Star with 1.5mm nib, with Lamy Blue-black ink.
P.S. I like to use Lamy Blue-Black as it is waterproof (Iron-gall ink)
P.S.2 I could write "Supercalifraglisticexpiadocious" in 27 seconds.

This is really good advice and the handwriting is beautiful Your perseverance and diligence is clearly seen throughout the video. People harping about the word Practice being incorrectly spelled - Practise is the verb form and Practice is the noun form. Needless to say, it has been correctly used in this video.

Ive looked through several handwriting improvement videos and one thing is becoming clear: If is not possible to have good handwriting while writing quickly. That's what I really need. My handwriting is fine, but its when I have to write quickly is where things go downhill. Damn.

In standard - or conservative even - British English, 'practise' is the verb form whereas 'practice' is the noun form. In American English, 'practice' is used exclusively for both forms.
