POV You just got poisoned by the Accordion Guard.
He's not as strong as the other bosses, that's why he has to fight with some unfair methods. His personality is kind of like marx's from the Kirby games and also has almost the same goals. He is tricking you, to become the strongest living creature in the universe.

If you don't know who Marx is: Marx is a character in the Kirby series, debuting as the main antagonist and final boss of Milky Way Wishes in Kirby Super Star and its remake, Kirby Super Star Ultra. ... He tricked Kirby into summoning Galactic Nova so he could steal the wish and take over Planet Popstar.
