As someone who's been in the sport for a very long time. I can honestly say I really appreciate mr. Lyles creating this content, getting people engage with track and field. Being an actual Steward of the sport instead of just a star like many before him.

@Noah Lyles, Olympian: my young son is watching now your tutorials to become a sprinter. He followed you yesterday on the track in Zurich (5 meters from your 200m block). His name is also Noah.

I'm a 200 guy, and I definitely learned from this video.

Thanks Noah! 61 year old man here trying to get below 28 sec this summer from current 30 secs results. Just need that last 40 meters sorted out. This will help!

I would like to hear more about getting out of the starting blocks as quickly as possible. Some are successful because they can drive off quicker. What techniques are you working on to improve your start?
  • @gonzaddv3509
Great breakdown! The next video should be about the 100m, I'm just starting out and getting tips from the best would be amazing. Keep it up!
  • A video about training top speed would be great. Like how would a typical speed session look like for you! Love the work you do. Great videos!
  • @mattlee9021
You should show how to execute the drive faze in the 100 or the 60 (like what positions to hit what to think about and maybe some types of training that are focussed on explosiveness and making your start/acceleration better). I’ve been working on my acceleration and explosiveness pretty intensely recently and am just wondering what your thoughts are on it. (Really appreciate the how to’s! I found out I’ve been doing A skips and B skips completely wrong all my life and learning that helped me with getting better at hurdle/hip mobility warm ups)

Can you make a video going through your weekly training schedule for the off-season? 🐐
  • Noah, Thank you for making this video. I am a USATF Masters sprinter. I would love to see you do videos on the 60m, 100m, and starting. You are truly a master of your craft, and you communicate very well. Respectfully, Darryl
  • That was a GREAT and easy to digest explanation of how to run a 200M... and for the most part the why you're doing what you're doing when you're doing it. Please do a 100M breakdown next πŸ’―
  • @SaberKanwar
Appreciate how much knowledge Noah shares. Passing it down to the next generation who is chasing him!
