I really like the ColorScience tinted mineral sunscreens in the liquid and powder brush for touch ups during the day. I love the MD SolarSciences Mineral BB Crème, it’s SPF 50 and lightweight. Both brands have tints in different shades.
  • Thank you for showing all the products on your skin. As a pale person I really wanted to see the tints before purchasing.
  • Great Info! This is what i've been looking for... waiting for someone to post about tinted sunscreen (melasma) and specifically MD solar, and Elta...
  • I have used the Elta sheer and tinted, Isdin tinted, drmtlgy, Perbelle, Obagi tinted and laRoche posay. I am under a dermatologist care for treatment for melasma. I completed a treatment regimen of Obagi NuDerm with the hydroquinone and have cycled off of the hydroquinone. My dark spots improved while on the hydroquinone. I am 58 and have used sunscreen all my life. Used SPF 50 during my pregnancies … my ethnicity is black and have a lighter skin tone. Since being on the Obagi I have definitely stepped up my sunscreen approach. I like all of the sunscreens I listed above but my favorites are Isdin and Elta. I am thankful for your content

Another great one Dr. Sugai!! I've been using Elta MD for about a year now and I love it.
  • In my opinion, the Drmtlgy products are NOT heavy. I highly recommend. Tint is minimal. Light, easily blendable.Great for aging skin. (I'm in my 70s). I add a dab of foundation for times I want coverage.

I love, love, love LaRoche Posay's tinted SPF 50; I have mild rosacea and not only does it keep the UV from causing a flare, it subtly reduces the appearance of any redness while being lightweight and smooth. Thanks for the other recommendations, though; you never know when a product might be discontinued!
  • I just saw this video. Soooo good! Thanks for comparing these tinted sunscreen.
  • @kimc555
I’m liking Bioberma’s photoderm nude touch spf 50. Comes in 2 or 3 shades. I’m quite fair and the lightest shade works for me.

I love your content. I always try to share your information with my husband cause he's Filipino and he suffers from some of these issues!

I'm glad you talked about the Vicky one because I'm in Canada and I can't find how to get the famouse DRMTLGY one or any other popular Us brand sunscreen. So I had only La Roche Posay and Vichy to chose from, and La Roche Posay was too orange for me and the Vichy one seems closer to my skintone. I hope my sensitive skin will like it and that it'll look fine on my face! Thank you! Update: My eyes tear up when I apply it to my eyelids :( I don't know what to use on my eyes
  • @stepbric
Love the dermatology universal tinted, use it as a BB. Cream. Love your site
  • @RockeyToes
I love the ISDIN SPF, I have the tinted and non-tinted, it goes well over my VIt C serum and is super lightweight, absorbs well. It also doesn't pill when I reapply it. I really appreciate that it's in a bigger bottle. For folks that say it's pricey, it is in a bigger bottle, and I usually wait for their 30% sale and get a few bottles. I'll use untinted Australian Gold or Hawaiian Tropic on my neck/ears. Speaking of affordable tinted SPF, Australian Gold has a good 50 SPF, water-resistant to 80 minutes, great for sports. If you want to avoid SPF damage on clothing (I haven't tried this yet), I heard you can spray cheap hairspray on the neckline of your Tshirts, that will create a barrier to help prevent staining.
  • ColorScience Face Shield is my FAV! Also really like MyChelle Sunshield Liquid Tint
  • @MtnSnowflake

Looking forward to more info on caring for my mature skin! I watched many videos on sunscreens and found yours to be the best one!
