Well, it's tough to say. Pistols like these were very popular during the 40's & 50's and were manufactured under many different names. Rohm Burgo was a popular brand/manufacturer but pistols like these were sold under Iver Johnson, Hopkins & Allen, Valor, Forehand Arms, etc. This one may be from Italy since I am not sure of the logo and the only one I've seen with type of center pin/hinge is from Belgium. So it's possible this brand wasn't sold in the US. Hope this helps.
