Thanks for your words, Matty. Sorry for the crashes. We are still around and will keep updating Fallout London.
  • @FalloutLondon
Thankyou for covering the mod! We've since gained permission to include Buffout 4 with the mod so that should help with some of them technical issues! Glad you enjoyed it Matty <3

Hey dude, one of the VAs here, so SO happy you're loving the mod - it was a real labour of love for so many, the core team especially, so it's wonderful to see support for it all! Great video, as always - especially love your take on wanting to know what the people of the game world themselves actually make of it and why, because I do think FOLON has flipped a lot of things from the more American side of things, which has been real refreshing to see, I think ❤❤

They definitely lied when they said DLC sized... this is way bigger than any DLC
  • 8:24 The VAs for these two scientists at the intro are actually both former Doctor Whos, Colin Baker and Sylvester Mccoy. As a brit the voice acting is on point, they've managed to get all sorts of authenticly acted dialects so it feels very immersive.
  • Hi Matty, I'm one of the VAs for the mod. Thanks for the kind words, and I'm really glad you're enjoying yourself! Everyone on the team worked incredibly hard on this, so to see that hard work appreciated is fantastic!
  • I agree: If we can't have a little grace for something that people did in their free time, what are we doing? What Team FOLON has achieved here is something that is to be commended. Yes, the bugs are annoying, but how many times have we been irritated with BGS? The fact they were able to pipeline a game that even comes close to what BGS has accomplished SHOULD be celebrated!

What im really happy about is the authenticity of the locations. Like, the Churchill Library has these two keys just lying around, a broken monitor with a safe behind it that is hidden from the hammer that caused the damage on the terminal. Another one was the bowling place where you read about them getting more and more broke and when you check the safe of course its empty, because the game dont try to pesterize you with the mandatory reward at any location you visit. It is truly a breath of fresh air, i love it.

YouTube needs to get rid of these frigging bots. They flood comments with the most basic ass stuff lol
  • This is straight up fallout 5, for free, made by volunteers. Absolutely less buggy than the typical Bethesda game at release. Bethesda being shown how it’s done!
  • Team FOLON has created a more in-dept, and interesting experience than Bethesda did with fallout 4 and 76 combined.

its unfair to compare this passion project mod to a AAA release, but the fact that people do, is a testament to how close they got to it, innit?

Chill Winston is what British people say in a jamican accent when someone is having a tantrum or in a right strop on as we call it. Chill winston lol... It made me laugh they named him chill winston 🤣🤣
  • @MrLemonade40
Oi chap I must say this radiation do be gettin me in quite the doozy
  • @tephra_
Proof of what passionate people can accomplish. It's astonishing.

During a name your favorite games for 2024 on Discord, I put Fallout: London and got a bit of sass saying "that's just a mod." No it's not. It's a whole new game using the Fallout 4 framework. To call this "just a mod" is a disservice to what the FOLON team put out. Buffout 4 is a must-have. I'd also recommend the Churchill fix mod that fixes a major bug with London's favorite doggo (though it was cool to see Dogmeat make an inadvertent appearance).
  • Fallout London with 3 mods, Buffout 4, long loading time fix, and weapon debris fix have given me a pretty damn spotless experience. In 14 hours of play I've had 3 crashes.
  • I had the same feeling as the first time I entered Megaton in Fallout 3. Its a special warm feeling where you realize the huge mystery that is awaiting you. I love Fallout London! (For those interested I wrote a cute song about it)
