  • You just got a fantastic shout out from Midwest Magic Cleaning! Another of my favorite YouTubers. He’s hilarious and also one of the most generous people to ever walk this earth. Give him a shoutout back. Watch out for Moose😂
  • @abarton1978
Mando and Hugo play fighting is so cute. ❤
  • @driverat8s
I have a pencil and pad. When a kitty shows up I write the time stamp down. Then I can show my wife all the kitty parts, she loves them. Mondo is absolutely beautiful. I love watching your show. Thank You.
  • @VioletJoy
Why do I enjoy your channel? 1. Your kitties. 2. Your humor. 3. Your skills. Love, love, love this piece!!
  • @pamallen2498
I'm 75, and I remember when good furniture looked like this. You are a wonder.
  • @ilene202
    “Because I’m fancy AF.” Hilarious!!

Just in case you don’t know, the green “fabric” is baize, used for cutlery drawers (& billiard table tops)! It’s usually wool or cotton, with a felt like finish. It helps stop cutlery (especially silver & silver plated cutlery) from becoming scratched & tarnished. (On billiard tables it helps the balls roll really smoothly). Love watching your videos, turning old & unloved pieces into beautiful & desirable ones. Best wishes from Annie, in Cornwall.🙂🌸
  • Another Midwest Magic Cleaning member dropping by. I love woodwork and watching someone restore an old piece to it's former glory is so great. Thank you for sharing and you have a new subscriber.
  • @deborahcole1045
That turned out gorgeous. I do not know why so many people hate the color of real wood.
  • @paulosborne6517
Hammock cameo at 18:47 ... Y'know, if ever you want a week off, a 20 minute video of Mando being a little tinker would be just fine. 🤣
  • @hollycook2048
I love, love, love vintage Waterfall/Art Deco furniture. For all of your complaining, you did a super job resurrecting this fine piece of furniture. Bravo! It will last at least one more lifetime. Keep up the good work.
  • Lately I have to rewind several times to watch the process. Why? I start watching Mondo and forget all about the furniture redo. He’s soooo cute and absolutely beautiful.
  • I laughed so hard when Mando knocked that thing into the drawer! He’s not much help, but he’s an adorable supervisor. I have a slight weakness for art deco pieces. The carved detail on the doors of this piece is interesting. Chocolate and coffee are ALWAYS a good mix! The gold wax and hardware is just beautiful. I swear I could see that wood breathe a big sigh of relief after the restoration, because it looked smothered under all of that paint.
  • The reenactment of sanding the back board was comedy gold. 😂😂😂😂 I felt that!! Also, i own a lot of books. They make perfect weight if you need to press things down for a bit. Lol
  • @SusieMonk-jh8tj
That was pure joy to watch Thankyou Jay. Mando and Hugo there to keep you awake during the sanding. I think the shelf was dislodged by the weight of a sewing machine. It would make a perfect sewing cupboard but I think that of most of your restorations. Not that I am obsessed at all👏👏👏👌👌🧵🪡
  • I got a huge chuckle when you said you woke up with the rope and it was just Mondo. He was trying to tell you that he was going to hold you hostage until you gave him some cat treats! The buffet came out fantastic. You work so hard on these projects. We love you forever too Jay! 😊❤😂😸😻

I love that you woke up with the rope around you. We used to wake up with several toys strewn about the bed thanks to one of our cats. She’s nearly 17 now so it doesn’t happen often now. I adore art deco pieces, so despite the many hours required to restore it, it looks fantastic. Just wish I you weren’t so far from Australia!
  • @PeterRabbit000
Stunning results as usual. Your kitty and his playmate are such charming photobombers.
