When I heard Rachel say "August is winter", I got confused. Then I remembered that she lives in a different country. I wish it was winter in the USA! Since my birthday is at the beginning of August, I have a lot of books I asked for that I'm excited to read. Since I've loved the first three books I've read by Emily Henry, I'm hoping to get the last two books by her that I have yet to read which are Beach Read and People We Meet On Vacation.

AJ Fikry is so good!! I liked the audiobook, which might help if you get too busy this month.

the medoran chronicles was one of my favorite series last year. I didn't love the prison healer (really, solely because of the ending) and i never finished that trilogy, but TMC was so good. (Book 1 isn't knock-your-socks-off amazing, but i loved every other book, and the series made me cry on more occasions than I'd like to admit). Happy reading

hi rachel, i usually never comment but when you said you want to read a longer series I HAD TO recommend you The Mirror Visitor Quartett by Christelle Dabos. I have read the series for the 3rd time already because I love it so so much. The world building is amazing and it really is mind blowing how the author connects everything that happens in all 4 books. I never see it being talked about and I think it is such a shame because it is an amazing series and you fall in love with the characters!
