This is a brief tutorial that highlights some of the excellent tools Global Mapper has to offer.
I have used Global Mapper for at least 15 years and it never ceases to amaze me. Use it for photogrammetry, cartography, terrain analysis, image editing, UAV and drone work too.
It is as powerful as some of the best known and most expensive pieces of GIS software, yet it is often overlooked, so consider this your introduction if it is unknown to you.

This video is very interesting and it will be very useful as I dive into global mapper. Just recently started learning how to use arcgis and your tutorial on gridlines was very helpful. Hi. I need to export topography or import a 3d model into software that can display the real topography and then do a fly-through. Can Global Mapper do that?
