I never realized up until now he had such little screen time. How unfortunate. He did get several comicbooks and an amazing video game. Hes easily my favorite starwars character.
  • Never realized that Jango tried to use the jetpack just before death. If it wasn’t for that Rhino monster he could have escaped

It’s so weird to think in the arena scene that little boba ends up working for Anakin one day lol

Too bad a character as iconic as this couldn’t be explored more in the clone wars as he’s dead. They definitely need to make a prequel to episode 1 so we can see more of Qui gon, Young obi wan, Jango, Sifo Dias etc

Jango fett is definitely my favourite character in star wars. He is such a badass and he was portrayed perfectly by temeura Morrison. He was also the original clone asset. Not to mention he got an amazing video game.
  • I really love Temuera portrays Jango and Boba differently. Jango Fett feels more like a suave professional. Boba Fett feels savage and brutal.

even with the helmet on jango sounds like a dad during a regular day at work

I remember watching this when I was younger and I never had any idea why Jango Fett was my favorite character. It’s very very sad every time I see him die, I’m glad he’s back in the mandalorian as boba fett
  • Note Jango's hands at 00:59. That hand posture, with the hands slightly raised at stomach level is a prison/street fight posture. As the conversation with Obi-Wan has slightly escalated in tone, Jango wants to keep his hands in front of him so he can defend himself as fast as possible.
  • Never forget the beast that trampled him broke his jetpack, and you can see Jango tried to take off just before Windu struck him.

That death scene gets me every time. C'mon Mace, he had a kid. You could have just disarmed him. But noooooo you had to kill him because that's definitely the Jedi way

4:43 his jetpack starts but sputters out because of the damage it sustained. He tried to boost away from Windu, but couldn't. RIP.

I love how Temura played Jango in this film. He only spoke when necessary and the scene where he’s engaged in verbal warfare with Obi-Wan is so good. I think both he and I agree that Disney has completely screwed over the character of Boba in the new show. Even Temura complained how his character talks too much and how they should keep Boba mysterious. Temura is a great Boba/Jango Fett, it’s just poor writing that has his character in a hole right now

2:59 Jango: "Must have put a homing device on our hull! Hang on, son we'll move into the asteroid field. Then we'll have a couple surprises for them." Boba: "Like a bantha."
  • 2 things that so many fans get wrong about Jango Fett: -1: He didn't just "stand there like an idiot" and shoot at Mace Windu. He clearly tried to activate his damaged jetpack, which failed him, and led to his death. -2: Mace didn't kill an "unarmed man". He was a walking weapon. He had vibroblades in his gauntlets, a whipcord launcher, flamethrower, grapple hook, and probably those darts he shot Zam Wessel with, along with possibly having a couple of thermal detonators.

2:20 I love how immediately after kicking him, Obi Wan realizes "Sh*t, I'm still tethered", lmao
