This breaks my heart. 100 years from now, they will look back on us in disgust for allowing people to be homeless - the same way we have disgust for those who used to tolerate slavery.

Cruelty is the whole point of American politics.
  • This country has gone right down the shiter !! What ever happened to compassion and empathy?
  • What a lovely lady ❤❤ I pray she find a safe, and comfortable place to live. Bottom line, no one should live this way at all!
  • She seems like a good one. They need to give her section 8. She's not a POS meth addict.

and yet the illegal immigrants will get placed in front the line for housing while elderly lady has to wait for over a year.
  • She has worked all of her life and she's not eligible for Social Security or other aid? We have no social safety net if we can't help someone like this woman.
  • Giving tickets to homeless people, is cruel and unusual punishment and undue finicial hardship. Against out laws and gross misuse of governmental power shame on you government!

💔 This breaks my heart; this is not right whatsoever! Come on America 🇺🇸 we can do better than this - having a senior woman on the street / unhoused is not acceptable!!! 😢
  • This poor woman's family can't at least give her a place to sleep and let her use their shower and toilet? She said she had children.

It's up to us now. If we don't help each other, we are screwed.
