I bought an Alexander McQueen bag at a thrift store for $2.50. I had the bag cleaned and a strap repaired and sold it for $3k.

I work for a company that resells luxury items. We get them authenticated before listing on our site and I learned that we donate the ones that come back fake to local thrift stores. It’s best to get them authenticated after finding them at thrift stores tbh

Unfortunately it appears to be a replica. The color of the bag itself is slightly darker than the original, the lining should be red, the hardware should also be a lighter tone of gold but most of these bags in this size for this model have silver tone hardware..other than those things the bag itself is a very good replica. I think for the prize and if it’s actually leather you should enjoy the bag. It’s a very pretty bag.

I used to get Louis Vuitton and Gucci in thrift stores in Miami. There was one thrift shop that I shopped at a lot named Miami Twice. They had a lot of vintage things, but once in awhile, you could get things that were almost new. I paid $15 for a Louie Vuitton Sarah wallet in pristine condition, $45 for a Gucci Soho bag and I paid $25 for Chanel sunglasses.
