It reminds me of the gyrobus. It was a trolley developed in the 50's that used a flywheel to store energy. I like your idea because it cuts out the middle-man when it comes to charging the flywheel... you're converting wind power directly back into wind power.

That is a fascinating idea 👍👍👍👍 Flywheel effect. Could probably spin it up with an electric motor and a wheel rubbing on the outside of the fan. The release is always going to be a problem 🤔🤔
