Hurricane Beryl takes aim at Texas after battering Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula

I found it distracting that the anchor called the region "Yucanan" and specified that hurricane alerts in Mexico were made in Spanish. Wow. Anyway...I hope the recoveries go well in each affected nation and that no one else gets hurt.

God bless the wonderful and resilient people of those island nations effected in the Caribbean and Yucatan Mexico from Beryls wrath, Climate change & global warming is or should be of everyone's concern & held as a priority worldwide in finding/creating the return to balance on our planet..Beryl is coming for Texas next. With it's gas and oil based economy which is a major player in sustaining this global onslaught of destruction, Most Texan politicians and many of it's ignorant self serving maga citizens, wealthy and poor, are among of the worst climate change deniers in the western hemisphere, if not the world. Texas maga based politicians like many in the southern states such as Majorie T Green, Tommy Tuberville, Di Santis, Matt Gaetz, Comer, & Texas's own Abbott, Ted Cruz, Paxton Perry, and Patrick for starters, these government grifting goons block and defeat most all social democratic progress aimed at and intended for helping the American people as a whole when and where ever possible That's until they get hit with a disaster in Texas, then it's all hands out for a leg up for Federal help and assistance. With Houston's massive oil profits and with billionaires like Elon Musk & others, internet influencer Hoe Rogan, and so many other Maga climate denying tax evaders who moved to Texas for the profiteering with cheap labor and low taxes,They should help their state financially when such environmental crisis's arise, instead of depending on the Feds everytime to bail them out again and again while voting down bills that address such issues.I feel for the commoner in Texas its no fault of theirs. But the state government & its civilian movers and shakers in that state and others in the south are a thorn in the butt of the USofA with their poor choices of representitives & blatantly ignorant leadership.
