A drone captured the remains of First Baptist Dallas church downtown on Saturday after a fire broke out early Friday evening.

The fire caused the historic church’s secondary chapel — which served as a place of worship for over a century until the church opened a new facility in 2013 — to “largely” collapse, Dallas Fire-Rescue said.

    GOD has allowed the burning of the old to make room for the new. It means GOD is purifying HIS people, moving his children at FBDC upward to the next step in HIS marvelous plan for them. Yes, there is great pain at such a tremendous historic and personal loss. Christians have always known their share of pain and loss. But, we also know healing will come. It always does with Jesus.❤
