  • The fact that Brian wants to see others grow and succeed even if they beat him shows his character. True alpha

We need the strongest man in history to come back..

Remember that deadlift that gave you a nose bleed and you had a torn bicep? “Yeah it was a lot of fun.” Don’t be fooled by his humble demeanor, this man is INSANE.

Oberst is one of the few men on this planet that makes Brian like normal standing next to him
  • I legit think this is a turning point in O.B’s career. Also, I definitely learned a lot from this video myself-
  • @Benlikesstuff
I just imagine Brian announces whenever he enters a a room. "Owner and winner of the Shaw classic is now entering"

Says so much about Brian. I know they are buddies, but for Brian to give tips to his direct competition, Brian is a genuine ambassador to the sport and a great human. Best of luck to you Obie!

Came here from the "Kong vs Godzilla" trailer. Dat YouTube algorithm tho.
  • What i admire most about Brian is the ability to share his knowledge with anyone and still be humble enough to learn or take change from others
  • Dear camara guy. How about a side on shot when they talk whole video about back angles
  • @teremaa91
I only come here to hear Oberst say “YOUTUBES” with an “S” 😂

Glad to see you picking Brian's brain on deadlifts. Also glad he is helping you, but that's the way Brian is. I hope this works out well for you Oberst, I want to see you on some Podiums this year.

as an aging powerlifter, this helped a great deal.
  • @RufusEatsCheese
Not many guys can say to Brian, “You’re half and inch taller than me...”
  • @muriloninja
Brian Shaw is a true badass of Strongman. I have never once seen him not willing to share knowledge or show an ego to anyone. He has trained with Bodybuilders to Crossfit, to Average dudes and he is as humble as can be. To me that is a sign of a true master!
  • @NotTheWheel
Brian brings out the best in those around him. That's what makes him such a great champion. He pushes people to perform their best and then can motivate himself to perform even higher.

I just started learning deadlifts around 3 months ago and I had issues the saem as you Obi with my hips and couldnt get down. My trainer told me to put a plate down and lift off of those now I am able to go off the ground and deadlifting 375. I'm glad to hear my trainer is saying the same advice as Brian!
