How to Add Color Glazes in Acrylic to Your Grisaille

In this video, we add color glazes in acrylic to the top of the monochromatic grisaille underpainting! Now that the highlights, mid-tones and darks are basically dialed in, I'll show you how I mix warmer pigments like raw sienna and organic orange to clear matte medium. Then we'll apply them with a fairly large flat brush to begin the process of introducing color into the painting. This is a method you can use for paintings where there is a lot of contrast, like sunlight shining on your subject or any other strong lighting. Enjoy!
