I'm an old hippie freak I'm 70 years old, I loved my rock and roll and still do. But there aint a person alive that likes music that can deny the fact that Glenn Campbell was a star. His guitar playing was mesmerizing and his voice was great. I hope you rest in peace✌️✌️✌️

How fitting that one of Glen's latter performances (enduring his 'condition') of this iconic song, features a sublime vocal and imo, his best solo guitar fill EVER for this tune...this takes into account the dozens & dozens of Glen's renditions over the years. Just incredible!

Glen was not a Country musician, he was an Incredible, COMPLETE Musician. As a member of the Wrecking Crew, he could, and did play everything. I had the pleasure of meeting him briefly many years ago, and what a kind and humble man. So glad there are countless recordings of his performances for generations to enjoy. Glen, Rest In Peace.

It’s no wonder Eddie Van Halen asked Alice Cooper if he could arrange for Glen to give him some guitar lessons. What an incredible guitarist and singer he was. Sublime performance, R.I.P Glen!
