Some Local Ibises Being Mischievious

Publicado 2021-10-19
This was an unusual moment during an evening walk near the preserve. There was a flock of ibises, AKA bin chickens, poking about for tasty morsels during the tail end of the rainy season.

  • Love these birds, we have egrets, I think the beak of ibises are flat and those of egrets are sharper. Mostly we see one or two at a time, flocks in this area are not very common, I mean near adiganga, when I went there for photography [before they half butchered the river under concrete in the name of building a wider road] I used to see one or two sitting at a fair distance from each other looking for fishes, look at them walking around so peacefully! :)
