Be sure to let me know your thoughts on Romanian and Moldovan history, and the prospects of a Romania-Moldovia unification. No offense is meant by stating that Moldova is the poorest country in Europe, I have many Moldovan/Romanian friends and they told me about the hardships they had to endure.
Thanks for watching!

the official language in Republic of Moldova is Romanian language ! There is no such a language as Moldovian !!!! it was invented by USSR to divide the territory AND THE PEOPLE that they occupied !!! Trust me i'm Moldovian and know it from inside !

I am a Spanish speaker, I used to play football with Romanians and I was surprised that I could understand almost 85% of what they were talking about. Later I didn't have a problem in conversing with them. They were very friendly and nice.

Hello to Romania from Georgia, i like your country :)

When Pavarotti performed in Bucharest in the 90s, he spoke in Italian and the crowds understood everything he said and sang. And were laughing to his jokes too. How cool is that?!
-
My second language is Portuguese, and I was pleasantly surprised with how much Romanian I could understand when I visited a few years ago. I certainly couldn’t understand everything, but many times I was able to get the idea. And Romanian people are so friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to go back!

A Romanian friend I work with took me and another guy from work to stay with some of his friends in Bucharest and then some family in Constanța. I was completely bowled over with the people and how warm-hearted and generous they were. I have travelled a lot and they were certainly some of the kindest people I ever met. I have started to learn Romanian now (am început să învăț limba română!!) and we're going back next May to visit Cluj. Can't wait. Abia aștept! By the way, no doubt somebody has already mentioned it but I'll do it again. The official language of Moldova is now called Romanian and it certainly is NOT written in the Cyrillic alphabet anymore. Your info on that is out of date.

I was adopted from Romania and just now started learning about my heritage. I can’t wait to learn more about my country’s history and culture.

As a Romanian . I love your video ! Good job!

Romanian here. You made a mistake. Moldovans don't use the Cyrillic alphabet. They use the same Latin one. The only real difference is that they don't have the letter â. Just î. Same sound, different letters. Don't ask why, it's complicated. The only ones that still write Romanian in Cyrillic are the ones from Transnistria, a small Eastern part of Moldova. Again, don't ask why. Complicated.

I love this country so much! Beautiful country, beautiful language, nice Anthem, interesting history! Greetings from Greece!

Big hugs for our Romanian brothers and sisters from Serbia!

I am Chilean and I love Romania. I wish that more Romanians had arrived in Latin America, perhaps in a particular area, so we would have had an area of each great Latin language (Portuguese, Spanish, French, Italian and Romanian)
-
Moldovians use the latin alphabet not the cyrilic one, the main distinction between Romanian romanian and Moldovian romanian is that we in Moldova borrowed more russian words in day to day conversations, but the official romanian taught in schools and used in television and media is pretty much the same as in Romania, except some regional terms
-
there IS NO “moldovan” language. we both speak the same romanian, and as a moldovan myself, i can say that with confidence and btw we live pretty good and our economy is good too

I’m from Moldova, and Romanian was written in Cyrillic only while it was a part of Soviet Union... and since it collapsed we started to write using Latin alphabet
