I am stuck between being thankful i got to make these memories with Donovan and upset that we won't be able to make any more. He was a truly special and inspiring person who lived his life to the fullest. If you guys could fill these comments with kind words/thoughts/memories about him I would really appreciate that. Hey, I'm Mom lol and I just watched this today. I had lots of laughs throughout the video and a few cries. thank you so much for putting this out there. He called me a few times during the festival and he was having so much fun. I just wanted to drop a thank you💚

the fact that Donovan was able to be that positive about his situation really speaks volumes to the content of his character and shows that he truly did live his life to the fullest. really puts it into perspective how many of us are really just taking this ride on a floating rock for granted. "No one ever had control" Rest easy Donovan, i think its safe to say that you truly made an impact on thousands of people and may God bless you Brandon for being a truly awesome person and giving Donovan what looked like a truly amazing time.

Classmate back in the 2000s here. Don was a witty character from the outset and persisted against the odds to make it as far as he did, almost didn't survive to adulthood. As a teenager he would have been stunned to hear of the scale and intent of your condolences. Reading makes his loss a bit easier. (and our teacher Harnish, who passed away several years earlier, shout-out if anyone there with us at the time is reading)

I'm not a juggalo, not a huge fan of most of the music, but i love the free spirit attitude they embody. Glad people get to do stuff like this to just be themselves.

Donovan was a real inspiration and truly funny guy. As someone with the same disability as him it was an honour watching a brother make such great content. He'll be missed. Rest in peace man.
