The Veloster N is Hyundai's addition to the hot hatch market. It’s a practical, affordable, dependable car that you can daily, but that’s not what you’re here for. It’s also one of the most fun to drive performance cars out on the road today and that’s because it’s engineered so well. This obscure three-door hatchback has some BMW M-sport inspired technology hiding under the hood and today we’re going find out what makes this car so good.. We’re talking twin scroll turbos and a bunch of e-l-e-c-t-r-o-n-i-c goodies!

In 5 years time, how much do you think a used Veloster N will go for? Max (editor of D-list), says $10k...Nolan (Nolan), say's no way. What say you?
  • Honestly, 10 years ago if you said that Hyundai or Kia would be turning out attractive and desirable cars and SUVs I would've said you were nuts. And now I want one
  • @Willieg2008
The engineer headed M and now developed the N technology. I can't wait to see what he does with O
  • @Graey
I’ve worked at Audi in sales for the last 5 years and the Veloster N was one of the top 5 cars I’ve driven in that time. It’s just so unsuspecting only way to could be better is AWD.
  • @JordanPeisner
I work at hyundai and I can say without a doubt that these cars are well worth the money. It's like a miata but modernized and tubroed. It's so so so worth it.

i love that Hyundai is really making a name for themselves
  • Those cool pops are more than just for sound. This car has a sweet ass anti lag system so you can keep that snail spooled up when you let off that throttle.

Thanks for doing this vid I’ve worked for two major Japanese brands and now am with Hyundai and we are doing really well right now. The Veloster N is an awesome car super tail happy for a FWD and a super rigid platform. The anti lag system and pops put a smile on my face every shift I really recommend everyone drive one with the performance pack at least once. Also the DCT isn’t available in the US yet will be on 2021 US models.
