Those were probably tears of real pain. Those Dominican salons have hair/blow dryers with temperatures that go up to fire. I swear...

Honey. This is not a way to treat your child… I’m not one to judge but she was probably crying ACTUAL PAIN. I see the heat and they might’ve been leaving it too close to her scalp for to long! And putting a camera in her face whilst she is crying in agony and pain…. AINT gonna fix that. Embarrassing that you would think that’s ok 😂

Peach please don't take baby girl to them, they don't know how to handle our hair and that method they use will thin and shred her hair. Please find a stylist that does natural hair .

Girl the hair washing part is so real for me I have the same type of hair and it’s just different between when ur mom washes ur hair and when the people at the salon wash ur hair

This is why black kids grow up hating their natural hair. You have to teach them to love their natural hair by showing them u can do anything with it without it being painful..yes i said it. 4c hair styling ain't got to be painful. I will never put my babies into an agony in the name of looking cute, especially hair. Beauty is not pain, we need to teach that to young women.

Poor baby. I’m so glad I couldn’t afford the Dominican salon as a teen when it was popular. The horror stories weren’t talked about much back then, because of less social media and everyone white, Black, Hispanic etc thought frying your hair bone straight was normal in the 2000’s

Oh wait!! I didn’t notice this was a Dominican salon. She may have been crying because of that heat from that blow dryer! 🔥🔥🔥 Whew chile!! Maybe you can find a natural salon and get her a blowout. The process is gentler and the focus is on the health of her hair.

Girl why would u post ur child in pain? Also, why take her to a Dominican Hair salon as well. Those stylists use CRAZY amounts of heat especially the flat irons and blow dryers (this isn't meant to be racist or anything) but don't ever do this again unless she's old enough to handle it. Even I, a teenager can't stand the flat iron because of how it can burn ur scalp. So don't do it again babe
