Labour need to roll this guy out more often.

Shapps doesn't know his arse from his elbow. Great Labour MP, more power to him.

"First of all please don't interrupt me because it's rude and inappropriate". WOW. Darren Jones really tears them apart. Well done to him!
  • This is the second time I’ve seen Darren Jones. Very clinical and forensic in his questioning of these goons. Great stuff.
  • @gazza4230
Another Tory trying to justify their shit performance over the last twelve years, love the questioner’s attitude of holding them to account
  • Darren Jones is excellent as Chair of this select committee. He uses his legal training effectively every time he speaks. Clear, succinct and straight on target.
  • I went to University with Darren. He is a good man, the kind of person we need to lead the UK.

“Just for future reference it shouldn’t be a surprise that I want to talk to you about the economy” 😂
  • @Anduril1974
Holy shit.... he ripped him to pieces and reversed over them for good measure. I love this guy! More of him please!!!!

This is EXACTLY how the Tories turned up to the Brexit negotiations. No figures, no notebooks, no clue. Top job Darren!

The bottomless arrogance of Shapps is nauseating. "People watching this will be familiar with the...." What we are familiar with is constant bs and sidestepping actual issues, degrading lives of the citizenry daily, by this government (whilst pumping £££ into their friends' pockets). Peeing on our heads and telling us it's raining, as per. Well done Darren Jones for holding a tight line and not actually barfing.
  • What a beautiful take down. Shapps being presented with a range of firm figures and refuting them with figures 'off the top of his head' (and promising to bring his homework next time).

"I've not asked you a question yet secretary of state " damn... That's cold, not even using his name. And well deserved. He's literally lying. Why don't they have a researcher in the room to pull up the figures he's quoting, they have internet surely
  • @alanross1106
He needs to run for labour leader . Great orator and takes no BS off anyone. Well done .

The arrogance and ineptitude of this Tory and Tory goverment is sitting right there
