If he was studying advanced algebra in the 6th grade, he's more than a "crochet-prodigy." He's a prodigy who crochets. Well done, Jonah.

Im pretty sure there's no cognitive deficiency and crocheting is a wonderful dexterity practice for a surgeon. A great future awaits you young Jonah, never change.

Wow this is what happens when kids have loving parents that allow them explore and express their passions. Imagine how many untapped prodigies are out there. Jonah and his mom are amazing people 😍

What a handsome and smart young man. Wants to be a surgeon, and said “time is short, you have to make the most of it”. He has a better outlook on life than most adults! Me included. ♥️

Everything I want to say feels too cliche' but he is so impressive in so many ways. He has such a gift (not just crocheting) and he IS a gift to the world. I know he will make a fantastic surgeon if this is his choice. Talk about nimble, deft hands ! What a blessing he is to his family & the world.

There is a book called "Power In Numbers: The Rebel Women in Mathematics" by Talithia Williams, Ph.D. One of these women is a physicist who crochets and her incredible work is featured in the segment on her career. She and Jonah should get together and really show what crochet can be! This young man is awesome.

A lot of parents in my area would look at crocheting as a "girl activity". Kudos to them for being open minded and I hope he finds great success with his abilities and intelligence.

The more that I practice and learn crochet myself, the more Jonah impresses me The tension, speed, complicated stitches done with ease, writing his own patterns, etc.

His crocheting is cool but his personality is even more impressive. As someone who has done substitute teaching for a while now, its truly rare to find a boy who is this sweet and thoughtful. very rare, lmaoo
