I ran into a problem where it would hang during the boot sequence and wanted to post the solution in case anyone encounters the same issue. Press Alt+f2 and enter to get to the raspiblitz login. Login with user: pi and password: raspiblitz. This should get you into the rest of the steps as the video follows. Also, thanks for the great instructional video on how to do this!

This video is fantastic! Very easy to follow along with you. I am looking forward to the next one.

Hey Crypto Explore, thanks so much for this tutorial! I am awaiting my Raspberry Pi 4 kit and will be building a BTC/LND node over Christmas. Question - Is it possible to connect the Raspberry Pi to cloud storage for the blockchain rather than an external HDD?

Hey Tony. Thank you for the helpful video! In the last weeks I was setting up my RaspiBlitz. I finished this project up to 99.99 %. My only problem is that my lcd screen does not show the info screen as yours does. It says that "my wallet is still locked and I should ssh into it to unlock it with password A". But in the command line I already did this and there I also can see my menu screen where I can change settings etc. Do you know, how to handle this problem? I already flashed the sd card again and reset the data on the ssd (without deleting the blockchain), but that did not work so far...

I am looking to set up my own full node, is this set up still functional after 4 years? I have the Pi 4 with a cooling case, 64GB SD card, and a 1TB internal SSD. I initially was going to run Start9 OS this way, but I see many users run into issues.
  • Hey Tony. Thanks for the video. Just what I needed. I have my mode running on a pi4 with heatsinks but the temperature is always over 70 *C or higher although it’s idle. Is that temperature ok? Should I use a fan? Does a fan work with the display on? Thanks for the help.
  • Hi Tony. In the video you mention that you will be going through how to use the options in the display. Can’t seem to find that video uploaded (I only found the one you use the command line). I have now the node running but would like to learn more about how to use it and what can I do with it. Do you know where I can find good information about that? Thank you!

Is there an LCD for the Pi 4 B? I am ordering a desktop kit from Canakit and need a small LCD. My kit will be the Raspberry Pi4 B, 8 gig. Thank you

Doesn’t charge raspiblitz, freeze screen like 9:25, say: (ok) found device /dev/... it’s some with my external disk?
  • @staskertube
Thank you for that video, the best I seen. I have an answer, how to format the hdd? NTFS? exFat? Fat32?
  • @sidneymaung6116
I have tried to install Version 1.3, I have the SD card in the system with the HDD and the ether pluged and I get stuck at "Started Load/Save RF Kill Switch Status" Any help would be good.
  • Hey man, thanks for this great video. But I have a question: My Hdd in under one year full (91%) - how can I change this hdd? Can i only plug in a new one or maybe a second one (in the second USB port)?
  • @JubileeGiggles
Can you plug a keyboard directly into the raspberry pi to type commands?
  • @GarrisonSiberry
Hey man, love the tutorial so far. I'm running into an issue setting up WiFi though. I've followed the instructions to create the file and change it to .conf, then copied it over to the SD card, but when the Raspberry Pi boots up I get the message: Waiting for Network... Not able to get local IP. LAN cable connected? WIFI lost? Also when I plug the SD card back into my Mac, I no longer see the .conf file in the boot drive. Any idea what's causing this file to disappear?

What can I do if etcher and other flash programms failed with the error "Unmount failed"
  • @jorjiang1
nice work, but not sure it's a good idea to show the length of your password to the world , that reduce security dramatically
