Making them out of pasta surprised me. I thought they would be fondant or candy glass.

I love Emmy because she has lore to explain why she makes the food. Other people usually just say "I found this on Pinterest", but Emmy has a whole adventure finding recipes. I love it.

These would be fun to sprinkle on a cake for a teacher or something!! Maybe sweeten them up by coating them in a sugar-water mixture if you want to give them flavor.

My local Walmart has food coloring sprays that include metallic colors, which I feel would be perfect for these.

I never would have thought to use pasta... You can (also) use fondant, gumpaste or 50/50 to make these paper clips. Gumpaste dries the fastest and fondant dries the slowest (in my tests)💖😁

Make a version out of stiff piped royal icing and use them as "sprinkles" on a cake for an office party! When people start having that kind of thing again...
