Blacktip Reef Sharks of Koh Phi Phi

Publicado 2022-01-18
Koh Phi Phi's Maya Bay is home to many juvenile Blacktip Reef Sharks (Carcharhinus melanopterus) but even now that limited numbers of people can visit the bay, the baby sharks are still thriving.
When they're adults, they're also quite easy to spot by divers in the bay of Koh Bida Nok, and around Long Beach on Koh Phi Phi Don.

Good to hear that the numbers are recovering.
  • Your music is really "anxious" like the name. Make me scared. Did black tip bite?
