As a Cambodian who understand what the tuktuk guide said to the villager kids, he actually intentionally bring tourist to the village to help them out. He keeps comforting the little kids to wait and he’ll try to bring next tourist to buy snack for them to eat, in a gentle and really genuine way. It’s lovely too see this. He really does want to help those families out, as far as i can tell.

Dear Chris, I am a local Cambodian, who’s come to the US under harsh political threats for over 6 months. I cannot possibly express how much I miss my home country, as well as my gratitude towards you and your videos. You have been giving me a sense of being home again each time I watch a video. I am grateful for what you have done, not just for me, but for my country, and her people, and other countries as well. May god bless you, Chris πŸ™

Chris, I loved this video. I spent a month in Cambodia and some time with Cambodian children at an orphanage. It is so sad that a lot of thse kids don't get to go to school and there are many orphans as well. Cambodian people are so grateful and will give you the shirt off their back even though they have barely anything to give. What you did in that rural community was so helpful and kind. I was in Siem Riep fifteen years ago and I'd love to go back. The kids and people in general made a lasting impact on me. You do feel so grateful for what you have after seeing rural Cambodia and how poor, kind and grateful these people are. Love this video, you're the best for all you do. Keep the content coming! Would really love to see more of this type of content. This is the real Cambodia outside of the cities. Much love, from Canada.

Harsh reality ..... those people are living it every day, with smiles on their faces. Just goes to show how uneven living in this world can be. You were shocked, but as always, still respectful. Fantastic guide as well.
