Texas coming to the big house feels worthy of making this list.
  • Man Georgia has a pretty crazy away schedule. Ole miss, Texas and Bama all on the road!! Sheesh
  • Utah @ Okie St could have a huge impact on the CFP even though it’s early in the year
  • LSU vs USC will determine a lot for both of these teams further down the road during the season.😊

Paused super early because I love the narrative of Oregon specifically having to deal with the toughness of the B1G. Lanning was first a LB hire for Kirby Smart (promoted to DC one year later). He then goes to an Oregon team who was lead by Mario Cristobal, and you can say what you want about his Miami tenure but he's from the Nick Saban coaching tree and had already brough a tough minded big dudes on the line mentality out west with the way he'd built Oregon. By the eye test Lanning continued right where Cristobal left off, and they're coming from the two toughest, hard-nosed coaching trees at the top of the SEC. Like what toughness adjustments do people think Oregon is going to need to make? The best part, this year's game is Eugene.

Georgia and Clemson in Atlanta is not a neutral site. Both teams are traveling further than they would be if they were playing at their respective stadiums. Also calling Atlanta neutral for Clemson is a joke. If they were playing a neutral site it would be Williams Brice in Columbia. Actually, after saying that I would like to see that, 2 rivals going head to head in an opposing teams stadium. That would be awesome.

Notre Dame and FSU are rivals in my opinion. Both ACC (In football), multiple intense matchups, decades of history. It just makes sense, and I’ve always felt like it was a rivalry. (As an FSU fan living in Indiana at least)
  • You should do a segment on how the big ten is protecting USC and UCLA from playing cold weather games this year, all of their late season games are at home or against warm weather schools (or in Washingtons dome)

Good list. Usual suspects sprinkled with new ones. UF-Miami, Notre Dame-TAMU, LSU-USC, Texas-TAMU, Oklahoma-Mizzou. There are many more to choose from but I will seem like a homer.
  • BYU @ Utah will be great. Id love to see you revisit this segment at the end of the year and tell us what the top 10 regular season games actually were.
  • Ohio state vs oregon Georgia vs Auburn will be huge at that point of the season for sure too! Auburn will be sneaky good this season

Great to see the VT Miami rivalry back on this list.
  • Being a longhorns fan. I got my eye on Ole miss. Strong team
  • Oregon at Wisconsin in mid November in night game is going to be one of the best games of the year.
  • Georgia plays both Bama and Texas within the span of a few weeks. That’s gonna be huge

WVU vs Penn State makes more sense than Miami vs VT for game of the year. If Penn State loses in Morgantown they might aswell kiss a CFP berth goodbye unless they rebound and run the Big 10.
