This beautiful nature park offers one of the best views of Mt. Kanchenjungha and River Teesta. Delo has been converted into a nature park by the Government and there are Government accommodation options within the park as well as luxurious private accommodation options outside the park.
It takes 30 to 40 min. from Kalingpong by private car .(700 INR)
Park tkt 20 INR for Indians
200 INR for foreigners
It is a very big park with lots of flowers and trees with trails, the Deolo View point is in the park itself so you have to just buy tickets and enjoy both . There are lots of activities which you have to pay for.
The place is good for fun and the paragliding is very popular here.
This is good for picnic and the horse riding is very fun, the ticket price is high 150rs for 2 min ride.
The paragliding here cost arround 3000rs and for video recording the cost is 500rs per person.
I think its not that safe to paraglide here because i doubt the safety measures
The scenery is very good.
