FoEhints: A lot has happened in Forge of Empires

Unfortunately, I've hardly been able to get online in the last 6 months. That's why there were almost no videos from me. Sorry for that.
However, a lot has happened in Forge of Empires in these 6 months.
Forge of Empires celebrated its 12th birthday, Quantum Invasions were added to the game, GvG was removed, mini-challenges became a permanent feature, Observatory and Cultural Settlements reward buildings were upgraded, I missed some events, and much more.
So there's a lot of catching up to do here on the channel. So there will soon be lots of new videos here again. I missed the summer event on Beta. Unfortunately, I can't do that yet. But I'm already busy recording to bring you a video about the Quantum Incursion. I'm planning a video showing a quick run-through for each Cultural Settlement, as some of my existing videos are already quite old. There will be upcoming events and much more. Now I have lost contact with all players in the last 6 months. That's why I'm calling on you today:
If you have a good topic for a video or need specific information, please write it in the comments below this video. I will read them all and give priority to particularly popular topics through likes or replies. I have a lot of time now and I'll be online a lot. So the next few weeks will be exciting on this channel. I'm looking forward to it.

    I played FOE when I was still a kid, I think I started a year or so after it was made. I didn’t get past the Iron Age I had no clue what I was doing but I liked how it looked to build a city. Now that I am 20+ I all of a sudden got recommended one of your videos and was like: I recognize this game. What a coincidence. I started playing again and your videos are what made me like the game so much, because for a complete beginner it is a very hard game to get into/learn, trust me (I play a lot of games so I can judge haha). So even when you don’t actively upload in a certain period, your videos are very helpful!

    With changes to GBs, the traditional rankings of them is changing. Please re-evaluate the relative values of them. You may need to wait a bit until anticipated changes are in place. Or maybe show changes in ranking as each set of changes come out

    What I still find interesting today after having another look over this game - is that event buildings have become so strong, they have essentially replaced most Great Buildings entirely. People don't even build stuff like CapeC anymore as it only provides FP, when that same space can give FP, troops, military buffs, happiness and population. Even Alcatraz has become redundant as you now get so many troops from event buildings you don't need rogues anymore so you get a lot of space back. There is like 6 maybe 7 GB's you need to build now in the entire game and the rest can be entirely ignored. The powercreep that's happened with event buildings over the past few years is incredible. If you buy out an event and fill your city with buildings that break the game, the next event comes out with a building stronger then what you've bought. You can play FOE now perfectly fine without them but ones like Blue Galaxy are just getting stronger. But you do not really need Great Buildings anymore.
